Content Library - Compose

How to a content library for post creation and management.

Using a content library for post creation and management is extremely helpful for organizations managing multiple pages (e.g., branches, brands, loan officers). You can create content for your content library that can be shared and customized for all your pages.

Note that before you can create content in the content library, you must first create the content libraries. You can find details on content library creation under the Channels section of Brand Settings.

Creating a New Library Item

These are the steps for creating new items to be included in your content library.

  • Click on the library icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.
  • In the new screen that opens up, click on the "Create" in the upper right corner of the window. (If you do not see the "Create" button, you may not have the "Content Library Compose" permission. Please address this with your administrator.)

To create your items you will:

  • Select the Content Library to which you would like the item added.
  • Note that if you would like to create any pre-approved content library posts--posts that do not require approval to publish--they must be added to a pre-approved content library. See Content Libraries in the Channels tutorial for details on creating content libraries.
  • Set the start and end dates for the item to be available.
  • Create your post copy, if desired.
  • Attach any images (as applicable).
  • Apply any category labels (as applicable). See the Labels section in Brand Setting for details.
  • Click "Publish" to add the post item to the Content Library.
